Porter scores double eagle at Tippecanoe

CANFIELD -- Scott Porter of Canfield achieved a rare score Thursday during Tippecanoe Country Club's Fall Roundup.
On Tippecanoe's 575-yard second hole, Porter scored a double eagle (or albatross).He used a driver for 343 yards, then hit a 3-iron 231 yards and into the hole.
It was the first double eagle for Porter and the first scored on Tippecanoe's No. 2 hole. His shot was witnessed by John Scarsella Jr., John Scarsella III and Mike Scarsella.
