Officials delay closing of East Market Street
WARREN -- The two-day closing of East Market Street at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital, which had been scheduled to begin Oct. 22, has been pushed back to Oct. 29, according to the city engineering department.
The closing is for installation of a pedestrian bridge over the street between the main hospital complex and an office building the hospital recently acquired across the street, officials have said.
East Market Street will be closed between Bonnie Brae and Laird avenues Northeast, and the suggested detour is via Genesee Avenue, Woodland Street and Laird Avenue.
Traffic lane restrictions on East Market Street will begin Oct. 17 and resume between Oct. 31 and about Dec. 8.
