Holy Family making anniversary plans

POLAND -- Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 2729 Center Road, will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in September 2006 with the theme "Celebrating 50 Years: Faith-Fellowship-Future." The yearlong observance begins with a Mass on Jan. 1, 2006.
To mark the anniversary, the parish will build a house for Habitit for Humanity. Parishioners will volunteer at the home site. Funds are being raised through a raffle and 750 tickets are being sold at $100 each. There will be a weekly drawing of $100 and a grand prize drawing for either a Chevrolet Equinox or $20,000 in cash. The grand prize drawing will be Nov. 1.
Other parish activities are being planned for the anniversary. Events will culminate at an anniversary dinner-dance Sept. 24, 2006, at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
