"Finding Neverland" (9 p.m., Starz): What sort of man could invent Peter Pan? We haven't thought about that much, but that's what this 2004 movie is about. It seems that writer James M. Barrie (portrayed by Johnny Depp) found inspiration from a family of fatherless boys he met by chance during a walk in the park. He also grew close to their mother (Kate Winslet), further weakening his shaky marriage.
Baseball (starting at 1 p.m.): With the playoffs still in the first round, fans can watch all day. After a 1 p.m. game on ESPN2, the action switches at 4 p.m. to Fox, where a third game will be shown at 7:30 p.m.
Second chances (various networks): The broadcast networks have all but given up on Saturday nights, so perhaps you have, too. But tonight brings a chance to catch repeats of new shows you may have missed: "Surface" (8 and 9 p.m. on NBC), "Invasion" (9 p.m. on ABC), and Commander in Chief (10 p.m. on ABC).
