WILMINGTON -- Mike Jorris threw for 310 yards and four touchdowns to lead Mount Union. Jorris completed 25 of 44 passes and was sacked once as Mount Union (5-0, 4-0 Ohio Conference) won its 109th consecutive regular-season game. Jorris found Pierre Garcon twice in the first quarter on scoring passes of 14 and 44 yards. Scott Casto caught 10 passes for 141 yards, including a 27-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter that gave Mount Union a 31-0 lead at halftime. Marque Jones rushed for 117 yards on seven carries and scored on a 68-yard run in the fourth quarter for Wilmington (2-3, 2-2). Andrew Hamel finished 6-of-16 for 54 yards and was sacked three times. Mount Union's Aaron Robinson carried 20 times for 137 yards, including a 20-yard TD run in the fourth. He also caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Jorris in the second.
Washington & amp; Jefferson 45,Westminster 20
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Chris Edwards threw five touchdown passes, including four to Aaron Krepps. Krepps gave Washington & amp; Jefferson (5-1, 1-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference) a 14-0 lead less than halfway through the first quarter on touchdown catches of 10 and 7 yards before Sean Buggey returned the ensuing kickoff 100 yards to make it 14-7. That was as close as Westminster (2-3, 0-2) got as the Presidents scored 17 unanswered points to take control of the game. After Kyle Sidebotham kicked a 23-yard field goal to make it 17-7, Ryan Mendel scored on a 2-yard run and Krepps caught another touchdown pass of 27 yards from Edwards as Washington & amp; Jefferson led 31-7 late in the third quarter. Krepps added another 35-yard catch, and Mendel scored again on a 4-yard run.
Indiana, Pa. 38, Slippery Rock 17
INDIANA, Pa. -- Deanco Oliver scored two touchdowns in 23 seconds in the third quarter as Indiana University of Pennsylvania scored 21 unanswered points. IUP (3-3, 2-0 PSAC West) led 10-7 at the half on Brad Whitacre's 37-yard field goal and Chris Morgan's 24-yard touchdown run. Slippery Rock (2-4, 2-1) then scored off Josh Kniess' 11-yard touchdown run with 1:10 remaining in the half. The Rockets took the lead in the third quarter when Kniess scored again, this time on a 33-yard run. But the Indians struck back, scoring three touchdowns. Oliver caught a 53-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Krewatch. On the ensuing kickoff, Paul Favers fumbled on the Rockets' 37-yard line and Indians kicker Brad Whitacre recovered on Slippery Rock's 46-yard line. On the next play, Oliver ran for 46 yards to give IUP a 24-14 lead. Chris Morgan's 80-yard touchdown run made it 31-14. Ryan Daniel kicked a 29-yard field goal for the Rockets with 18 seconds left in the quarter to make the score 31-17.
Denison 53, Hiram 6
GRANVILLE -- Larry Cappetto tossed four touchdown passes and completed 17 of 24 passes for 258 yards with one interception. In the first half, he threw two touchdown passes to Frank Roe, who finished with 52 yards receiving. Cappetto also passed to Will Minor for a 2-yard score and Kevin Laidlaw a 17-yard TD play to help Denison (2-2, 1-1 North Coast Conference) take a 39-6 lead at the half. Hiram quarterbacks Trevor Henderson and Nic Borling each threw four interceptions, including one in the third that Denison's David Derwacter returned 26 yards for a touchdown.
Ohio Wesleyan 13, Allegheny 8
MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Steve Hymes ran 89 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to lead Ohio Wesleyan. Hymes' touchdown run with 9:10 left gave Ohio Wesleyan a 13-2 lead. Allegheny (0-5, 0-2 North Coast Conference) cut the deficit to 13-8 when Keith Keenan returned a fumble 75 yards for a touchdown with 7:14 remaining. The Gators put together a 17-play drive in the final three minutes to advance to the Ohio Wesleyan 4-yard-line couldn't get into the end zone. Jimmy Savage was tackled at the 2 on a fourth-and-goal run on the final play of the game.
John Carroll 34, Muskingum 0
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS -- Doug Phillips passed for 249 yards and four touchdowns. Phillips completed 17 of 23 passes with no interceptions. Carter Welo had five receptions for 113 yards, including a 16-yard touchdown catch for the Blue Streaks (4-1, 3-1 Ohio Conference).
Walsh 31, Quincy 26
NORTH CANTON -- Sam Cerreta threw for 133 yards and three touchdowns. Cerreta finished 8-of-19 with first-half TD passes of 26 yards to Donel Durham and 23 yards to Darryl Owens. Cerreta found Rob Lash on a 10-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to give Walsh (5-1, 3-0 Mid-States Mideast League) a 31-12 lead.
Ohio Northern 68, Heidelberg 6
ADA -- Adam Quirk threw four touchdown passes and ran 65 yards for another score. Derek Garrod, Bryan Gasser and Brian Lee each scored two TDs for the Polar Bears (4-1, 3-1 Ohio Conference). Jake Bennett returned an interception 95 yards for a score. R.J. Meadows ran for a career-high 115 yards on six carries for Ohio Northern. He scored on a 4-yard run. Lucas Bauer gained 107 yards on seven catches for Heidelberg (0-5, 0-4). Brett Hastings had The Berg's only TD with a 2-yard run in the first quarter.
