Rapist sentenced to 7 years

YOUNGSTOWN -- Jerry London, 18, of the Mahoning County Justice Center will be classified a sex offender and spend seven years in prison on a rape charge.
London was arraigned in October 2004. He pleaded guilty to rape May 2 of this year. Judge Maureen A. Sweeney of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court sentenced London Wednesday. The sentence includes three years of post-release control.
