XTrumbull Retired Teachers Association will hold a general meeting at noon Tuesday at G's Golden Restaurant on Parkman Road, Warren. Belinda Shaw from the STRS Health Care Department will speak about the new prescription drug plans sponsored by Medicare. XMcDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
XMcDonald Sideliners meet every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Blue Devil Room at the high school.
AUXILIARIES
XITAM Post 3 Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the clubroom with Lucille Sigler presiding. Dues will be collected. Hostesses will be Jean Mavrikis and Phyllis Zizzo.
XSt. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet at noon Monday in the guest dining room. The speaker will be Barbara Turner, coordinator of Humility of Mary Health Partners Program.
XVFW 3538 Auxiliary, 157 Lowellville Road, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday to discuss the card party that will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 25. XWomencare Center of UPMC Horizon's book club and coffee group will discuss "The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment," by Eckhart Tolle on Mondays. The group meets from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Womancare Center, 875 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage, Pa. GRANGES
XDublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the grange hall for a harvest program. Members are asked to take gloves, scarves and caps for the deaf school in Columbus. Earl and Zella Baker will be delegates to the Ohio State Grange Convention in Toledo to be held Oct. 21-25.

LIBRARY GROUPS
XFriends of Boardman Library will meet Monday in the library community room. A social will begin at 6 p.m., and the program will follow at 6:30. The guest speaker will be Rebecca Wehr on the topic, "Handwriting Analysis." A brief business meeting will follow. Reservations are required. Books and magazines in good condition are collected the first and third Saturday each month and sold to support library reading programs.

XMercer County Historical Society will meet Tuesday for its Civil War roundtable discussion at society headquarters, 119 S. Pitt St., then take a lantern-light walking tour of Mercer borough cemeteries. Bill Philson, MCHS executive director, will lead the way and speak on various aspects of the Civil War. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program starts at 7. Participants should take flashlights. Donations will be accepted to benefit Old Mercer Cemetery restoration and improvements.
