"The Sisters Rosensweig" opens its run tonight at 8 at the Oakland Center for the Arts, 220 W. Boardman St., downtown Youngstown. Call (330) 746-0404 for ticket information. The play tells the story of three successful Jewish sisters, their inner struggles and their great love for one another.
Kick off the Halloween season tonight at the Freakers Ball, with Alice Cooper and Supagroup. They'll be joined by the finest freaks, magicians, tarot car readers, fortune tellers and horrifying creatures ever amassed in one location. The fun starts at 7:30 p.m. at Tower City Amphitheatre, Cleveland. Tickets are $17.50 through Ticketmaster or at the door.
Cheer up! Bauhaus, the founding fathers of Goth rock, are coming! According to the band's press release, Bauhaus creates "a minimalistic, overwhelmingly gloomy style of post-punk rock driven by jagged guitar chords and cold, distant synthesizers." The show is at 8 p.m. Nov. 19 at Cleveland's Agora Theatre. Tickets are $35 and go on sale today at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
Tonight's Trapt concert has been moved from the Agora Theatre to the Odeon. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. All previously purchased tickets will be honored as general admission tickets at the Odeon.

Regardless of which side of the state line you live on, today's the big game: Ohio State vs. Penn State. Buckeye fans looking to capture the college football atmosphere that can be found only in Columbus can get a reasonable facsimile at the Odeon. The Danger Brothers, who are perennial Columbus tailgate lot entertainers, will be on hand, as will a giant 16-by-20-foot screen. No admission charge.
