'Dragon Tales' musical scheduled at Powers



YOUNGSTOWN -- PBS's top-rated children's program, "Dragon Tales," is coming to Powers Auditorium for seven performances, Nov. 23-27. Tickets are now on sale.
The show, titled "Missing Music Mystery," features sing-along music, special effects and fun with the gang: Emmy, Max, Cassie, Ord, Zak and Wheezie.
After wishing on their magical dragon scale, Max and Emmy arrive in Dragon Land the day of the concert at the Singing Springs. The concert was off to a great start when, suddenly, the Singing Springs stopped singing.
"Missing Music Mystery" follows the story of 6-year-old Emmy, her 4-year-old brother Max, and all of their dragon friends as they go on a magical adventure to solve the mystery of the missing music.
While in Dragon Land, they help each other overcome challenges and learn new ways to deal with their fears and problems. Audience participation is encouraged and helps to create a unique theater experience that teaches children cooperation and problem-solving skills.
"Missing Music Mystery" is a Broadway-style musical and features the original voices heard on the award-winning television series. The authenticity and integrity of the series are maintained with the costumes, scripts and sets.
