Annual Civil War encampment to be held

CANFIELD -- The annual Civil War encampment will be held at Loghurst, 3697 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Visitors can see cannon and tactical demonstrations, test their square-dancing skills and check out period-appropriate demonstrations on quilting and apple-butter making.
Children can dress up as soldiers, listen to period accurate music, take part in a children's story time and more.
The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday only, there will be a special presentation from the living history group, "Voices of the Confederacy."
Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for seniors and students K-12.
The admission price includes a tour of historic Loghurst, which is maintained by the Western Reserve Historical Society.
