CANFIELD
Sept. 27
Theft: Police arrested a Niles woman for shoplifting four cans of baby formula from Giant Eagle, 525 W. Main St.
Sept. 29
Missing computer: An owner at Lane Funeral Home, 65 N. Broad St., reported that a Fujitsu Stylist ST computer valued at $3,069 was missing from an upstairs office.
AUSTINTOWN
Sept. 26
Theft from vehicle: An AM/FM-CD in-dash system was stolen from an auto at a home in the 5000 block of Boulder Creek Drive. The dashboard on the vehicle was damaged.
Abandoned vehicle: A 1995 Dodge Intrepid was found in the Parkside Auto Mall, 565 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: An item was rented and not returned to Power Tool & amp; Supply, 3699 LeHarps Road.
Theft: A Huntington Bank checkbook was stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Vandalism: Buses were damaged at the transportation office of the Mahoning County Board of Mental Retardation & amp; Developmental Disabilities, 4795 Woodridge Drive.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged in the parking lot at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Avenue.
Sept. 27
Counterfeit money: Counterfeit $5 bills were passed at Countryside Drive-Thru, 888 N. Meridian Road.
Criminal damage: Pavilion walls were painted with graffiti at the Leonard Kirtz School, 4801 Woodridge
Drive.
Mail tampering: The landlord placed tenants' mail in the trash at apartments in the 300 block of Idlewood Road.
Theft: A cell phone was reported stolen at The Babylon, 114 Javit Court.
Auto theft: A man stole a gray Chrysler Concorde at the BP gas station, 890 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Theft: Copper wire was stolen from Vivo Metal, 340-A, North Meridian Road.
Attempted breaking and entering: A door was damaged at Change About Salon, 1724 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Fuel was stolen from a vehicle at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A summons was issued for the arrest of a man on a charge of theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Sept. 28
Assault: A truck driver was assaulted by another driver at Jamestown Industries Inc., 650 N. Meridian Road. No arrest was made.
Theft: A woman was arrested on a charge of theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Drug abuse: Police arrested two men with pills and suspected marijuana at Davidson's, 3636 Canfield Road. Police charged a Boardman man with possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, and charged a Youngstown man with possession of marijuana. A male juvenile from Canfield was charged with curfew violation and was later released to his parents.
Criminal damage: Trash cans were damaged at a home in the 1000 block of Collin Street.
Criminal damage: A window was broken at a home in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Sept. 29
Criminal damage: Windows were hit with BBs at a home in the 5000 block of West Rockwell Avenue.
Criminal damage: Construction equipment was damaged at Resurrection Cemetery, 300 block of North Raccoon Road.
Auto theft: A 2005 Chevrolet Classic was stolen from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 4908 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Chrome wheels and tires were stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 5000 block Kirk Road.
Harassment: A bus driver was harassed by a person in the roadway in the residential 2000 block of Spring Meadow Circle.
Property damage: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: A change purse was stolen at J.C. Penney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A purse was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Nottingham Avenue.
Drug Offense: Summonses were issued to two women for miscellaneous drug charges at the Econo-Lodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive. Police charged a Newton Falls woman with a misdemeanor drug abuse offense and a New Lenox, Ill., woman with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft: An in-dash Panasonic stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked at an apartment in the 500 block of Wilcox Road.
Theft: An in-dash Pioneer stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked at a home on Wilcox Road.
Criminal damage: An auto windshield was hit by BBs at Wal-Mart.
Sept. 30
Theft: A total of $20 worth of gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A total of $18.22 of gasoline was stolen from Sheetz.
Oct. 1
Drug offense: Police charged a Youngstown woman with possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse and marijuana at state Route 46 and Clarkins Drive.
Drug offense: Police charged a Canfield woman with possession of drug paraphernalia for having a suspected crack pipe at Mahoning Avenue and Benton Avenue.
Theft: The driver of a white pickup stole an undetermined amount of gasoline at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Oct. 2
Theft: An undetermined amount of fuel was taken from the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: Condoms were taken at Walgreen's, 5501 Mahoning Ave.
Disturbance: A man was assaulted by an unidentified person or people at an apartment in the 100 block of Westchester Drive.
Drug offense: A Austintown man was placed in Mahoning County jail after being arrested on a charge of felony drug abuse of cocaine, and an Austintown woman was charged with obstructing official business at Burkey Road and Westgate Boulevard.
Criminal damage: Two tires were cut in a carport at apartments in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Burglary: Entry was made through the side window of an apartment in the 100 block of Georgetown Place.
