Hernan, DiPasquale lead Mooney over Richfield Revere, 2-0



STRUTHERS -- Zack Hernan and Dom DiPasquale scored first-half goals to lead the Mooney High boys soccer team to a 2-0 win over Richfield Revere Saturday.
Hernan scored his 13th goal of the season off an assist by DiPasquale.
DiPasquale scored his sixth goal on a penalty kick for Mooney (8-2-1), ranked No. 5 in Division III.
Andrew Loudon registered his sixth shutout in the Mooney goal, turning away three shots from Revere (6-3-4).
Poland 1, Fitch 1, tie
POLAND -- Chris Juchno scored the goal for Poland (9-1-1) to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead. Fitch fell to 3-8-1.
Brad Hrinko scored off an assist from Brian Haughey for the Falcons.
Fitch goalie Andrew Monk had 11 saves.
JVs: Poland, 2-0
Girls
HUBBARD -- Maureen Malone scored two goals and had an assist as Poland defeated Hubbard 5-2.
Ashley Luthern, Sarah Anderson and Jessi Toth each scored a goal for the Bulldogs (9-2).
Luthern, Anderson and Stephanie Armstrong had an assist apiece.
Liz Crafton and Shannon Sarisky scored goals for the Eagles (3-5-3).
Poland had 19 shots on goal and Hubbard had three.
Tressa Scahill had 11 saves for the Eagles and Sam Stanich had two for the Bulldogs.
