"Haunting Sarah" (9 p.m., Lifetime): Observances of Halloween seem to start earlier every year, as evidenced by this new movie. Twin sisters (both played by Kim Raver) have opposite reactions to the possibility that the son of one of them is haunting his young cousin in an effort to return from the dead.
"Out of Practice" (9:30 p.m., CBS): This new comedy series stars Christopher Gorham as a psychologist who's sort of an outcast in a dysfunctional (of course) family where everybody seems to be a "real" (medical) doctor. The show comes from Kelsey Grammer's production empire and features TV veterans Henry Winkler and Stockard Channing, backed by writers who helped make "Frasier" a longtime hit.
"Connie the Cow" (10:30 a.m., Noggin): The third season of this charming animated series for preschoolers launches today with the first of eight new episodes. Each program includes three seven-minute stories and two games focusing on nature, with some of life's lessons along the way. The series airs every day at 10:30 a.m. on Noggin, available via some cable systems and satellite.
