"The True Hollywood Story" (6 p.m., E!): The stars of "Desperate Housewives" -- Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross and Nicollette Sheridan -- get the two-hour treatment that means plenty of attention to matters such as "alleged cast catfights."
"Charmed" (8 p.m., the WB): The sisters may be trying to live "normal" lives these days, but we're not worried that their show will turn into a workplace comedy or anything like that. For instance, they're drawn to helping Billie (Kaley Cuoco), the "fearless" young witch and college student who seems poised to benefit from their experience.
"Bell, Book and Candle" (8 p.m., TCM): More witches. Back when the Hollywood studios had great control over most of their actors, a deal was made: As payback for "loaning" Kim Novak to star with James Stewart in "Vertigo," her studio got to make its own movie with the pair. This much lighter movie is the result, with Novak cast as a "good witch" who lives in the company of other witches and warlocks.
"Mayday" (9 p.m., CBS): An errant test missile cripples an airliner over the Pacific, leaving most of passengers and crew dead. Can an amateur pilot land it safely? This new movie is based on a best-seller by Nelson DeMille and Thomas Block, and stars Aidan Quinn, Dean Cain, Charles S. Dutton, Kelly Hu and Gail O'Grady.
"Dave Attell's Insomniac Tour" (9 p.m., Comedy Central): A feature-length standup-comedy film features Attell along with Sean Rouse, Greg Giraldo and Dane Cook. The quartet wound up a nationwide tour at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, where this movie was shot in July.
"Move This House" (4 p.m., A & amp;E): Moving into a new house is stressful enough -- but add to the mix a complete stranger who determines which of your belongings you can keep and which must be hauled off to storage, and the situation can become downright infuriating. That's the premise behind this new A & amp;E offering, hosted by Tanya Memme from the network's current "Sell This House."
"Premiere's Women in Hollywood" (10 p.m., AMC): Five actresses and a costume designer will be honored in this special that celebrates the success of women in Hollywood. Charlize Theron, Laura Linney, Lindsay Lohan, Shirley MacLaine, Rachel Weisz and Sophie De Rakoff are in the spotlight. The 12th annual edition of the show will include interviews with the honorees and their celebrity pals.
