Surprise party held for Strubles on anniversary

XYOUNGSTOWN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Struble, 7833 Struthers Road, was celebrated at a surprise dinner party held Sept. 10 at Johnny's in Boardman.
Hosts for the event were members of their family, Fred Struble Jr., Patricia and Ken Bodnar, Ron Struble, Pamela Struble, and Gary and Shelley Struble, and Mrs. Struble's brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Ruth Fellows. Also participating were the couple's seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The former Agnes Fellows and Mr. Struble were married Sept. 9, 1955, at Central Christian Church in Hubbard.
Mr. Struble retired from Mahoning County Sanitary Engineers after 30 years of service, and also from the Holiday Bowl.
Prior to retiring, Mr. and Mrs. Struble were employed 12 years at The Embassy banquet center.
