Biondillo 50th observed Oct. 1 with their family



XCAMPBELL -- A family celebration was held Oct. 1 to honor Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Biondillo of Campbell on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Their family includes Deborah and Dr. Mark R. Varley of Maumelle, Ark., Anthony J. Biondillo Jr. of Cleveland; Anna Marie and Kraig Kasten of Canfield; and Edward A. and Gina Biondillo of Canfield. The couple have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, Eugene Biondillo, is deceased.
The former Ann Luthern and Mr. Biondillo were married Oct. 1, 1955, at St. Stephen of Hungary Church in Youngstown.
While Mr. Biondillo was serving with the U.S. Navy, the couple lived in Key West, Fla. After his discharge from the service they settled in Boardman.
Mr. Biondillo was employed by the Mahoning County Sanitary Engineer's Department until retiring in 1984 with 30 years of service. He is associated with West Gate Ford Dealership.
Mrs. Biondillo received her nursing degree in 1970 from Choffin School of Nursing and was a nurse at Little Forest in Boardman. She enjoys oil and china painting and has received a number of awards for her works exhibited at the Canfield Fair.
The couple will continue the anniversary celebration during a vacation this month to Branson, Mo.
