XBOARDMAN -- The marriage of Ann Marie Antal, 3598 Foskett Road, Medina, and Richard Fuhrmann of the same address, was solemnized by the Rev. John Darney on Aug. 27 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
The 5 p.m. ceremony was followed by a reception at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center in Austintown. After accepting congratulations, the couple left for an Alaskan cruise and for San Francisco. They live in Medina.
Escorted by her brother, William Antal, the bride wore a white satin gown with a lace bodice, three-quarter length sleeves and a cathedral train. It was embellished with pearls and sequins.
Peach-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Cynthia Eorio of Boardman, and the bridesmaids, Anne Baciu of Niles, and Sabra Szczyslowski of Hollywood, Md.
Serving as best man was Timothy Hill of Strongsville, and groomsmen were the groom's brothers, David Fuhrmann of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Gary Fuhrmann of Indian Trail, N.C.
Mrs. Fuhrmann earned a bachelor's degree in music from Cleveland State University where she graduated with honors and from Hiram College where she received a bachelor's degree in business. She is an accountant with Inland Fire Brick in Cleveland, teaches private music lessons and performs professionally with area orchestras and theaters.
Mr. Fuhrmann is a printer with Dupli-Systems in Strongsville.
