Tim McNeil selected to Titans' hall of fame
Andy Blatt of Greenville also is scheduled for induction on Oct. 8.
NEW WILMINGTON -- Tim McNeil of Warren, a former wide receiver for the Westminster College football team and a 1996 graduate of the school, is one of five selections to the Titan Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2005.
The other picks are Andy Blatt (football, 1997 graduate), Karey Kustron Gabrielli (women's basketball, 1996), Beth Lehman (women's tennis and softball, 1996) and Deanna Kaczynski Seruga (softball and women's basketball, 1997).
The five selections will be inducted at a banquet Oct. 8 in the McKelvey Campus Center following the Westminster-Washington & amp; Jefferson football game. The group also will be introduced during halftime of the game.

Ranks No. 2 in receptions
McNeil, a native of Mineral Ridge and a graduate of Warren JFK High, set the Westminster career record for receptions with 129, which now rank No. 2 at the school. He also had 1,849 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns for his career.
McNeil helped Westminster to win the 1994 NAIA national championship by catching a pair of touchdown passes in the final game. He was selected to the NAIA All-American team as an honorable mention.
McNeil is an assistant principal at Warren JFK, and lives in Warren with his wife, Jennifer.
Blatt holds two records
Blatt, a Greenville High graduate, holds two Westminster career records for rushing touchdowns (56) and total touchdowns (68), and ranks No. 3 in both carries (811) and rushing yards (4,627).
At the time that Blatt reached 4,627 yards rushing, the total ranked No. 2 at the school.
Blatt led the Titans to the NAIA national championship in 1994, and gained NAIA All-American honors in 1994 and 1996.
Blatt is now a systems analyst for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Churchill.
He lives in Eighty Four with his wife, the former Valerie McCowan, a 1998 Westminster graduate, and son Aiden (2).
