South Range rolls 48-0 against Jackson-Milton



Matt Schlatter paced the Raiders to their sixth straight victory.
NORTH LIMA -- Matt Schlatter ran seven times for 158 yards and three touchdowns to help the South Range High football team blank Jackson-Milton 48-0 Friday in an Inter-County League game.
Schlatter scored on runs of 59, 9 and 66 yards for the Raiders (6-0, 3-0 ICL). South Range is ranked fifth in this week's Associated Press poll of Ohio's Division V schools and the No. 3 team in Region 17 of the computer playoff ratings.
Kris Davis also ran eight times for 52 yards and a 2-yard touchdown for the Raiders who opened a 42-0 lead by the break.
For Jackson-Milton (2-4, 1-2), Joe Skaggs had 23 carries for 80 yards and Josh Barringer ran 15 times for 60 more.

BERLIN CENTER -- Lucas Gonzalez rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Rockets to its fourth win of the season.
Gonzalez scored on runs of 1, 10 and 5 yards for the Rockets (4-2, 2-1 ICL).
Jon Calderon tacked on 60 yards on 13 carries, including a 21-yard scoring run, and Eddie Barone had a 19-yard scoring reception from Dave Minnie.
Lowellville held Reserve (1-5, 0-3) to just 52 yards on the ground.
Brandon Moherman scored on a 10-yard run and completed a 6-yard scoring pass to Chris Truitt. Moherman finished the game 8-of-16 for 153 yards. Truitt had five receptions for 76 yards.
Mineral Ridge 63, Sebring 0
SEBRING -- The Rams (5-1, 3-0 ICL) rushed out to a 30-0 lead in the first quarter, then cruised to victory.
Micahl Hall trigger the Rams attack as he scored on runs of 4, 9 and 27 yards. John Heck returned a blocked punt 27 yards for a TD and also caught a 6-yard TD pass from Vance Keirsey.
Mineral Ridge had 404 yards of total offense and Sebring (2-4, 0-3) had 89.
