Leaf pickup begins
HOWLAND -- The township's leaf bag pickup program will begin Oct. 10, but only for those using biodegradable bags. If other bags are used, they will not be picked up, township officials said.

Leaves will be taken to Nature's Blend in Warren, where they will be ground into compost that will be available to residents in the spring.
