Public welcomed to youth concert

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Henry H. Stambaugh Youth Concert Band will present its annual winter concert tonight at 7:30 in the Stambaugh Auditorium concert hall.
Admission is free, and the public is welcome.
Music to be performed will include "A Festival Prelude," "Overture from Die Fledermaus," "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," "Incantation and Dance," "Galop" and "Semper Fidelis." A slide presentation of masterpieces from the Louvre will be shown by Wendell Lauth.
The 100-piece student band has members from 26 schools throughout the region. It is conducted by Shawn Vondran, Thomas A. Groth, Reed Chamberlin and Dr. Stephen L. Gage.
