XYOUNGSTOWN -- Lisa Donald, a daughter of John and Debra Donald, 5502 Tracy Drive, Boardman, and Mark Hixson, a son of Sandra Hixson, 8 Sandy Drive, New Middletown, were united in marriage on Nov. 12 at St. Christine Church.
The marriage was solemnized at 2 p.m. by Monsignor David Rhodes, and the couple accepted congratulations during a reception held later at Antone's Banquet Centre, Boardman.
After a wedding trip to Nashville, the Hixsons live in Willoughby.
The bride wore a white strapless A-line satin gown that featured an overlay of beaded lace.
Wearing royal blue gowns were the bride's sister and honor attendant, Gina Donald of Boardman, and the bridesmaids, Melissa Yatsco of Poland, her cousin; Kara Krispinsky of Boardman; Jennifer Ventresco of Austintown, and Jacquiline Edwards of Laurel, Pa. Flower girl was the groom's cousin, Madison Mullen of New Middletown.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Brian Hixson of Struthers, and groomsmen were Jason Lewis of New Middletown, the groom's cousin; Keith Douglas of New Middletown; Richard Zitkovic of Austintown; and Jason Myers of New Springfield.
The bride is a registered nurse at The Cleveland Clinic. She earned an associate degree in nursing from Mercy College of Northwest Ohio, St. Elizabeth Campus.
The groom is the manager at Chuck E. Cheese's in Mentor.
