Wedding planned by Tara Rogers, Mr. Schumacher

XCOLUMBUS - Plans for their upcoming marriage are being announced by Tara Michelle Rogers and Christopher Drue Schumacher.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Oscar and Deborah Lund of Canfield and Richard Rogers of Austintown. She majored in public relations at Ohio University where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is vice president of marketing and communications for Children's Hunger Alliance, a statewide anti-hunger organization based in Columbus.
The prospective groom is a son of Ed and Becky Schumacher of South Carolina and Bill and Judi Shelton of Columbus. He graduated from OSU with a bachelor's degree in international business and is a financial advisor for Ameriprise Financial and a financial columnist for TheStreet.com.
The couple have chosen St. John's Evangelical Protestant Church as the setting for their April 8 wedding. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for an evening reception at the Westin Great Southern Hotel.
