COCONUT GROVE, Fla. -- Seimone Augustus had 19 points and Sylvia Fowles added 12 as No. 3 LSU easily defeated Texas A & amp;M-Corpus Christi 74-45 to win the Miami Thanksgiving Classic on Saturday.
Augustus, who reached double figures for the 66th consecutive game, moved within eight points of 2,000 for her collegiate career.
LSU (4-0) used a 15-0 run to take a 23-5 lead midway through the first half, and eventually built a 44-18 halftime lead.
Terra Andrews had nine points and six rebounds for Texas A & amp;M-Corpus Christi (0-3).
No. 19 Purdue 56, South Carolina 48
FREEPORT, Bahamas -- Katie Gearlds had 18 points, Cherelle George added nine points and 10 steals and Purdue avoided going 0-for-the-islands with a victory over South Carolina at the Junkanoo Jam.
The Boilermakers (2-1) had lost to George Washington in the tournament's first game Friday and trailed the Gamecocks (2-2) midway through the second half.
Iva Sliskovic led South Carolina with 11 points.
No. 1 Duke 110, Arkansas State 56
DURHAM, N.C. -- Lindsey Harding and reserve Laura Kurz each scored 19 points to lead Duke past Arkansas State and into the championship game of the Duke Women's Classic.
Mistie Williams and Carrem Gay each added 14 points, and Chante Black scored 10 for Duke (4-0).
The Blue Devils will face Auburn in the title game today. Auburn beat George Mason 71-36 in the other semifinal.
Harding shot 9-for-12 and Kurz made two 3-pointers and all six of her shots as the Blue Devils had their best shooting game, hitting 45 of 66 shots. The 68.2 percent shooting surpassed the 67.6 percent Duke hit against Stephen F. Austin in the tournament in 2003.
Adrianne Davie scored 13 points to lead Arkansas State (2-1). Carolina Starr added 12 in a reserve role.
No. 5 Baylor 75, California 58
CANCUN, Mexico -- Sophia Young had 12 points and 15 rebounds and Baylor extended the nation's longest winning streak to 25 games with a win over California in the Caribbean Classic.
Angela Tisdale added 16 points for Baylor (5-0), which hasn't lost since being defeated by Texas on the road on Jan. 22
Alexis Gray-Lawson led California (4-2) with 21 points.
No. 12 Minnesota 69, Virginia 64
CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands -- Liz Podominick had 18 points and eight rebounds and Minnesota rallied to beat Virginia in the championship game of the Paradise Jam tournament.
Tournament MVP Jamie Broback added 14 points and eight rebounds for the undefeated Golden Gophers (4-0).
Sharnee Zoll scored 16 points and Denesha Kenion added 13 points for Virginia.
