300s for Bob Eisenbraun Jr. are nothing new

Rolling anything over 10 300 games is bowling's version of lane drain: more frequently means less satisfying.
That would appear to be the case for Bob Eisenbraun Jr., who recently had Nos. 16 and 17.
The 30-year-old Struthers resident admits that multiple 300s get old, but they don't dilute the accomplishment.
"Yeah, having that many does water it down, but there are a lot of guys with a lot more. It's not like having that first one. The first is always the hardest to get."
But Eisenbraun Jr. doesn't totally attribute the high rate of perfect games to ideal lane conditions and equipment.
"They're equal factors and they make it pretty easy, but you still have to have control. There's still some talent."
Five days apart
Eisenbraun's 300s came five days apart at Holiday Bowl, the first in Variety Mixed on Nov. 5 and the second in Max Belcyhk/Dr. Ferkula Classic on Nov. 10.
It helps that Eisenbraun works at Holiday Bowl and has spent about 80 percent of his adult life there.
"Between bowling and working, I'm there seven days a week," he said.
With 17 perfect games, the next goal might be a 900 series.
But his focus is the group.
"I always want my team to win," Eisenbraun said. "Whatever happens individually is secondary. That's the way I look at it. I concentrate on the team outcome."
His perfect game in the Variety Mixed was the first his wife ever witnessed.
"She was more excited than me," Eisenbraun said of his wife, Brandy.
His father, Bob Eisenbraun Sr. and Patty and Bob Ondra are also teammates on the Family Video team.
Father rolled 300
On Nov. 17, his father was one of three Belchyk bowlers rolling 300s. That night, Eisenbraun Sr. finished with an 804 set.
This year, Eisenbraun Jr. is averaging 240 in both Belchyk and Variety Mixed and 228 in Shooting Gallery.
"There's a lot of good competition on Tuesdays and Thursdays," he said of Belchyk and Shooting Gallery hotshots Adam Barta, Joe Nuzzo, Jim Dodge and Dan Guerrieri.
"They're all pretty good and that's just a few of them."
A week after his Variety Mixed 300, Eisenbraun also converted the 7-10 split.
Eisenbraun Jr. is also the Struthers High School boys bowling team coach.
Wolcott, Manners perfect
Jim Wolcott also had 300 in the Belchyk/Ferkula Classic on Nov. 10, when his series was 814.
Rich Manners Jr. had 300 in Outdoorsmen at Camelot on Nov. 9.
Jennifer Gossett's 279 was top game and her 931 was the best four-game series in Wedgewood Ladies Trio on Nov. 15.
John Pavlina had 11-in-a-row 290 in Fuzzy Toman Memorial at Holiday on Nov. 7, while Theresa Florjancic's 737 led men and women in L & amp; M Mixed at Holiday on Nov. 7.
Rich Thompson and Mike Mikulich both picked up the 7-10 split on Nov. 2 in Girard Merchants A at Kay Lanes.
The Par 4's team of Connie Pressey, Robynn Jeswald, Dee Gran and Joanne Best had high actual game of 621 and high actual series of 1737 in Ladies Friendship at Wedgewood on Nov 3.
