Sixth Jubali celebrates African culture at YSU



YOUNGSTOWN -- The Africana Studies Program at Youngstown State University will have the sixth annual Jubali, the African Culture Celebration, at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center.
Dr. Verkijika Fanso, professor of history at the University of Yaounde, Cameroon, will be the keynote speaker. His topic will be "Hope for Africa in the New Millenium."
The evening will include an authentic African dinner and entertainment by African Soul International from Cleveland and the YSU African Student Union dance group.
