Dead puppy found wrapped in duct tape

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio (AP) -- A 3-month old puppy was found dead near this eastern Ohio town with its feet and head wrapped in duct tape.
The mixed breed, named Tiny Jr., had been missing for almost a week when it was found, said Jackie Adkins, whose family owned the dog. It was found by the Coshocton County Animal Shelter.
"I don't understand how anybody could do anything close to this," Adkins said Tuesday.
"Someone deliberately tortured this puppy," said Chris Sturtz, who works at the animal shelter. "If people could see this it would really make them angry."
Tiny Jr. was found last week. Three other dogs in the town are missing, and Sturtz warned residents to closely watch their pets.
The Coshocton County sheriff's office was investigating.
