Airborne vehicle crashes into house
CINCINNATI (AP) -- If a car misses the curve near the home of Harry and Judy Vonbusch, it is likely to end up in their driveway.
This time, the car crashed into Harry Vonbusch's bedroom.
Vonbusch, 58, needed 37 stitches after the 2000 Honda CRV hit his suburban Anderson Township home Thursday morning.
"He's OK. That's our blessing today," his wife, Judy, said Thursday.
Driver Aaron Holscher, 19, was treated at University Hospital and then released. He is accused of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to control his vehicle and not wearing a seat belt, police said. No other information was available Friday.
Trees provide shelter for the home, but the car apparently went between trees as his car became airborne, Judy Vonbusch said.
