During a lesson about immigration at Springfield Intermediate School, Bryan Carder, 14, above, asks teacher Karen Stewart where to sign up for a job. The social studies classroom was turned into Ellis Island earlier this week, and pupils had reading tests, health exams and other immigration procedures. Bryan was playing a person from Mexico.
