XLOWELLVILLE -- Richard Patrick Sacui and his bride, the former Mary Rachel Simko, honeymooned on the Hawaiian islands of Maui and Oahu after their Oct. 29 wedding at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
The Revs. Pat Ferraro and Gerald DeLucia and Monsignor William Connell officiated at 1:30 p.m., and a reception followed at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
The daughter of Joseph and Karen Simko, 3120 Southwind Trail, Poland, and the son of Richard Sacui, 3086 Heatherbrae Drive, Poland, and the late Rosalind Sacui, live at 7588 Eisenhower Drive, Boardman.
The bride's gown was enhanced with Swavorski crystals, rhinestones and pearls, and featured a chiffon overlay, spaghetti straps and a cathedral train.
Maize-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Lindsay Gardner, and the bridesmaids, Laura Amero, Brittany Boosinger, Megan Boosinger, Holly Rucker, Jaime Sabula, Patricia Schulz, and Melissa Teeters. The flower girl, Kirstin Micco, wore white.
Todd Rusher was best man, and groomsmen were Michael Estok, Douglas Graybeal, Jeffrey Homuth, Patrick Kolozvary, James Kosek, Luke Liguore and Joseph Simko.
The bride, an area representative with Merck and Co. Inc., graduated from Mercyhurst College with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and religious studies. The groom graduated from Mount Union College with a bachelor's in business and is a financial planner with Brennan Financial Group Ltd.
