XBOARDMAN -- William R. Jones of Lake Milton and his bride, the former Heather L. Houser of North Jackson, honeymooned in Hawaii following their wedding on Oct. 29 at First Covenant Church.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 1 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Tom Snarkey and accepted congratulations afterward at Shangri-La in Canfield where a reception was held in their honor.
The bride is a daughter of Robin Houser of North Jackson and the late Greg Houser. Parents of the groom are George and Marsha Sweat of North Lima and the late Robert Jones.
The white satin A-line gown worn by the bride featured a halter neckline and crystal beading on the bodice, skirt and train.
Apple red gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Bethany Prusky of Rootstown, and the bridesmaids, Sarah DeZee of Leetonia, Stacey Miller of Georgia, and Sarai Miller of Youngstown. Flower girl was the bride's cousin, Kasey Sheridan of Youngstown.
Chuck Jones of Weirton, W.Va., served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Brent Batta of North Jackson, and Tim Menda and Jeff Legios, both of Aliquippa, Pa.
The bride, a radiologic technologist with Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna graduated from Kent State University, Salem Campus, with a degree in radiologic technologist.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Youngstown State University and is a manager at Infocision in Austintown.
The couple live in Lake Milton.
