Who's back: April Melquist (second team all-Federal League and all-district; special mention all-Ohio); Courtney Schiffauer (honorable mention Federal League and all-district); Colleen Mallis (honorable mention all-league and all-district).
Who's new: Kelly Haren (Jr., F); Lindsey Hall (Jr., F); Danielle William (Soph., F); Kaitlin Fiffick (Fr., G); Makala Gasparek (Jr., G); Staci Wahlman (Jr., G).
Outlook: The Spartans, who lost in the state semifinals last season, return three experienced starters who should provide leadership for the coming season. Additional strengths will be height and rebounding.

Outlook: The Falcons are continuing to work hard on fundamentals in order to be successful in a talented Federal League.
