Woodshop suffers damage in blaze

DAMASCUS -- Fire did heavy damage to a woodshop in an apartment on U.S. Route 62 here.
Damascus Fire Chief John Bricker said the fire began in the woodshop, which was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived early Monday evening. Damascus and Beloit firefighters were on the scene. There were no injuries reported. There was no information available late Monday on monetary damages or the names of the apartment's occupants.
