XCANFIELD -- The Village Church at the Canfield Fairgrounds provided the setting at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 22 for the wedding of Valorie Sue Hohmann and Jeffrey J. Saluga Jr., both of Boardman.
The Rev. Kevin Rauch officiated during the ceremony, and afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at A La Cart Catering.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the newlyweds live in Boardman.
Parents of the bride are Richard and Kathy Hohmann, 969 Reese Road, Slippery Rock, Pa. The groom is a son of Jeffrey Saluga of Boardman and Nancy Saluga of New Middletown.
The brides strapless white gown was embellished with crystals and rhinestones.
The bride's sister and honor attendant, Lisa Ann Dado of New Castle, Pa., wore a red gown.
Performing the duties of best man was David Aey of Boardman, a cousin of the groom.
Guests were ushered by Jordan Varela of Charlotte, N.C., and the bride's brother, Travis Hohmann of Plain Grove, Pa.
Mrs. Saluga graduated from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., with a bachelor's degree in sociology. She is a police officer with the Canfield Police Department.
Mr. Saluga, a sheriff's deputy with Mahoning County Sheriff's Office in Youngstown, graduated from Western Reserve Police Academy in Poland.
