LaRiccia-Barkan wedding planned for mid-December

XAUSTINTOWN -- James and Betsy LaRiccia of Austintown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rachael Jane LaRiccia, also of Austintown, and Todd Barkan, a son of Robert and Judy Barkan, all of Wilmot.
The couple have chosen Dec. 17 for their wedding at Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church. They will issue invitations for the 3 p.m. ceremony and for their evening reception at The Georgetown in Boardman.
The bride-elect is a substitute teacher with Stark County Schools in Canton. She graduated from Malone College in Canton with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
The prospective groom earned a bachelor's degree in special education at Malone College. He is a special-education teacher with Fairless School District in Navarre.
