XMIAMI -- The Church of the Epiphany was the setting at 3 p.m. Oct. 8 for the wedding of Jennifer Doherty, 8035 S.W. 107 Ave., and Juan Restrepo, 6611 SW 63 Ave.
Monsignor Jude O'Doherty presided for the daughter of John and Trish Doherty, 63 N. Hazelwood Ave., Youngstown, and the son of Marta Restrepo, 7740 S.W. 95 St., and the late Jesus Restrepo.
After a reception at the Dadeland Marriott, the couple left on a cruise to the East Mediterranean. They live at the groom's address.
Fashioned of peau de soie and embroidered lace by the groom's mother, the bride's A-line gown featured a cathedral train.
The honor attendants, Debbie Polando and Amber Pfefferkorn, wore cranberry-colored gowns. Wearing black gowns were the bridesmaids, Sherri Kovach, Anne Morgan and Nancy Mangin, sisters of the bride, and the groom's sisters, Ana and Margarita Restrepo, and the flower girls, Emily Kovach and Brigit Morgan, nieces of the bride.
Cameron Roe and Andres Pfefferkorn served as best men, and groomsmen were Michael Kovach, Pat Morgan and Samuel Mangin, the bride's brothers-in-law; Jon Silkworth; and Jorge Macias, the groom's brother-in-law.
The bride graduated from Duquesne University and the University of Florida, and is pursuing a doctorate at the University of Miami. She is an academic program director of athletic training education at Florida International University. The groom, a project engineer with C3TS in Coral Gables, Fla., graduated from the University of North Carolina.
