The message is simple: Be glad for what you have

Saints and friends, there are those of us out here who are angry at the world. We're looking for dinner and the world is it. Many people aren't happy in their current professions, family lives, homes and schools.
Be thankful for what you've got.
From John 10:10, Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and enjoy abundant life, and have it abundantly."
There are other people who wonder why those complaining take for granted what they have.
We complain about the traffic, each other and petty things that prevent us from focusing on the big picture.
In the 1970s, a popular record played on radio was "Be Thankful for What You've Got." The songwriter stated that you may not have much, but you can still stand tall.
Instead of complaining about what you don't have, be thankful for what you do have.
Psalm 118:24 says, "This the day that the Lord has made: let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Attitude change needed
It's time to change that sour attitude. Try not to dwell on what's wrong with your life, but focus on the good parts. Live your life to the fullest and retrain yourself to think positively.
I happened to hear of an incident in which some students were complaining about "burnt" pizza. It made me think that some other people don't have enough food. In this land of plenty, there are still children and adults who go hungry. Those complaining should be made aware of this situation.
If we take a hard look at our lives, we have much for which to be thankful. The next time you want to complain about something, think twice. Acquiring a positive attitude will make you feel better and you will bring glory to the Lord. What you do for Jesus Christ is not in vain.
