Rev. Dockstader listed in 'Who's Who'



NILES -- The Rev. Deborah Dockstader is included in the 2006 edition of "Who's Who in America," which lists profiles of individuals on the basis of position, accomplishments and prominence in their fields.
The Rev. Ms. Dockstader, a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, is pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Girard and Southside Presbyterian Church in Niles. She is the second woman ordained in her home Presbytery and has served Presbyterian, Methodist and Episcopal churches in Vermont, Pennsylvania and New York.
She has served as associate executive director of Inter-Church Ministries of Northwestern Pennsylvania. She also has been elected to serve as a voting representative to both regional and national church assemblies.
Ms. Dockstader serves as a member of the Board of Emmanuel Community Care Center and as secretary of the board of Niles Community Services.
She is the vice moderator-elect of the Eastminister Presbytery, a regional association of Presbyterian churches. Before that, she served as treasurer of the Friends of McKinley Library, a board member of Mahoning Valley Association of Churches and a trustee of Rotary Club Scholarship Foundation.
