Pa. suspect will face charges in S. Carolina

SHARON, Pa. -- A Masury man charged with armed robbery of the Sharon City Center Rite Aid on Nov. 3 likely won't be in a Pennsylvania court anytime soon.
Frederick Campbell, 47, was arrested Sunday in Charleston, S.C., after a drugstore robbery there, said Sharon Police Capt. Mike Menster.
South Carolina police say Campbell admitted to the Sharon Rite Aid robbery under questioning, according to Menster. Menster said a man with a handgun went into the Rite Aid and demanded OxyContin and left with an undisclosed amount of narcotics Nov. 3.
Menster said an armed robbery charge was filed this week at District Justice James McMahon's office in Sharon, but police likely won't extradite Campbell until his charges are disposed of in South Carolina.
