Bikeway bridge over Mahoning Ave. opens

YOUNGSTOWN -- Mill Creek MetroParks has opened the Mahoning Avenue Overpass on the MetroParks Bikeway.
The bicycle/pedestrian bridge permits users to safely cross Mahoning Avenue without dealing with vehicular traffic.
The $1.53 million project was funded through a grant from the Federal Highway Administration. A.P. O'Horo Co. was the project contractor.
