Theft/drugs: Police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after someone stole candy from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive. He also faced two charges of possession of drugs after officers say he had bags of pills.
Assault/criminal damaging: A man told police he was struck in the face and that his car's front windshield was damaged while he was near South Avenue and Indianola Road.
Theft: A man, 33, and a woman, 31, both from Youngstown, face theft charges after being accused of shoplifting clothing from Wal-Mart. The man faces additional charges of obstructing official business and drug possession after police said he had suspected marijuana and gave a false name.
Assault: A man reported being assaulted while in the YMCA parking lot, 45 McClurg Road.
Theft: A 29-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after clothing was taken from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.

Theft: A man in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue discovered items missing from his vehicle.
Arrest: A 40-year-old Youngstown man was taken into custody near Market Street and Midlothian Boulevard. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with passing bad checks.
Arrest: Police apprehended a Youngstown woman, 50, in the 7400 block of Market Street on charges of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrest: Officers arrested a 48-year-old Youngstown man in the 4700 block of Boardman-Canfield Road. Charges against him were theft, possession of criminal tools and possession of drug-abuse paraphernalia.

Breaking and entering: Someone broke into Audio Extreme, 7000 Market St. It was undetermined if anything was stolen.
Theft/drugs: After a theft at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, police arrested a 36-year-old Youngstown man on charges of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers say they found a suspected crack pipe.
Theft: A 13-year-old Youngstown girl was charged with theft after a theft at Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: Police picked up a Columbus man, 23, at the Wagon Wheel Motel, 7015 Market St., and turned him over to Austintown authorities. He was wanted on warrants from Austintown and Liberty charging him with failure to appear in court.

Theft: A woman discovered items missing from her car after she came out of First Place Bank, 700 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Someone took several jackets from Rick's Ranch Wear, 7336 Market St., and fled the store.
Citation: Police cited a 43-year-old Lowellville woman on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated after investigating a claim made by the woman that her boyfriend beat her up. Officers said she was intoxicated and concluded there was no evidence to support the allegation.
Vandalism: A man discovered several wires were destroyed in a ticket booth at Cinemark Movies 8.
Arrest: Police arrested a 26-year-old New Middletown man after learning he was wanted on a felony warrant from Columbiana County charging him with receiving stolen property. He also was charged with obstructing official business after officers say he gave them his brother's name.
Arrests: While conducting a traffic stop, police arrested two Youngstown men, 18 and 20, on felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon after saying they found a weapon under the driver's seat. The older man also was charged with underage consumption of alcohol.
Drugs: After pulling over his car, police cited a 33-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of possession of drugs (marijuana).

Theft: A 19-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after property was stolen from Gabriel Bros.
Criminal mischief: A man reported an object was tossed at his car while he was driving on Hitchcock Road.
Vandalism: A woman in the 1300 block of St. Albans Drive noticed two front entrance windows broken.
Theft/criminal damaging: A man in the 30 block of Erskine Avenue discovered his car's driver's-side door handle was pried. Stereo equipment was taken.
Misuse of a credit card: A woman told police her stolen credit card was misused at Smoker Friendly, 4605 Market St.
Attempted felonious assault/assault: A man reported someone tried to intentionally strike him with a car in the Wal-Mart parking lot, and that the person pushed him.
Theft: A small dog was stolen from Petland, 7338 Market St.
Theft/criminal damaging: A vehicle was broken into and items were stolen from Sweeney Pontiac & amp; Buick, 7997 Market St. Also, two conversion vans at The Donnell Auto Group, 7955 Market St., were entered and TV equipment was removed.
Theft: A woman told police someone took her purse and ran from her home in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue.
Domestic violence: A 44-year-old man was taken into custody at his South Shore Drive residence on a domestic-violence charge. A woman reported being a victim.
