XNEW WATERFORD -- The marriage of Taylor Marie Gaston, 220 Deer Trail, Canfield, and Billy Joe Barth, 380 Fairground Blvd., Canfield, was solemnized by the Rev. Ken Rambo at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at New Waterford United Methodist Church.
Parents of the couple are the Revs. Jim and Georgette Gaston, 22 E. Main St., Greenwich, and Larry and Pam Barth, 7227 S. Duck Creek Road, Berlin Center.
After a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, the couple left on a wedding trip to Hocking Hills State Park. They live at the groom's residence.
The bride's strapless A-line satin gown was enhanced with beading and featured a corset back and chapel train. She wore a rhinestone necklace belonging to her great-grandmother.
The matron of honor, Stephanie Lawton of Leetonia, and the bride's attendant, Stacey Sevacko of Columbiana, wore apple-colored gowns. Her other attendant was her brother, Josh Gaston of New Waterford. Flower girl was Harlie Derrick of East Palestine.
Todd Morrison of Columbus was best man, and attendants for the groom were his brother-in-law and sister, Dave and Ronda Colapiertro of Berlin Center.
The bride, a residential assistant at Shepherd of the Valley in Poland, is pursuing a degree in integrated language arts-secondary education at Youngstown State University. The groom is pursuing a degree in business marketing at YSU and is a project manager with Mahoning Valley Yellow Pages in Canfield. A sergeant E-5 with Ohio National Guard, he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
