XYOUNGSTOWN -- Cancun, Mexico, was the honeymoon destination of Damon J. Dohar and his bride, the former Nicole L. DeAngelo, both of 138 Green Bay Drive, following their wedding Oct. 8 at St. Maron Church. Officiating at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony were the Rev. Gary George and Deacon Joe Nohra.
A reception followed at the Maronite Center for the daughter of Samuel and Beatrice DeAngelo, 318 Indiana, Sandusky, and the son of Joseph and Audrey Dohar, 4171 Milltrace Drive.
The bride wore a strapless, A-line satin gown adorned with sequins and embroidery and featuring a cathedral-length train.
Garnet-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Toni DeAngelo, and the bridesmaids, Carla Pelz, Christine Engel, Becky DeAngelo, Daneen Keller, Melanie Crookston, Sally Ruffing, Christine Ignazio, Christine Lombardo, Lisa Toth, Marcie York and Tracie Speziale. Flower girls were Dominique Pelz, Abby Engel and Charlotte Keller.
Dan Dohar performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Dominic DeAngelo, Paul Klein, Herb Williams Jr., Marc Oldfield, Dominic Pregi IV, Brent Kovalyak, Tim Miller, Steve Rohan, Erik Berger, Joe Marzano and G. Mat Reiger. Junior groomsman was Tyler Dohar.
The bride, a graduate of Ohio University and Ohio State University, is a senior speech pathologist with Easter Seals. The groom, a graduate of Thiel College, Ashland University and the University of Toledo, is a special-education coordinator with Springfield Local Schools.
