LETESHA AUSTINTEDDY MONTGOMERY
XNEGRIL, Jamaica -- The Parish of Westmoreland was the setting at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 8 for the wedding of LeTesha Dennteau Austin of Rochester, Minn., formerly of Youngstown, and Teddy Lee Montgomery of Shreveport, La.
The Rev. Cephas Stern presided, and a reception followed at Beaches Sandy Bay Resort. After a honeymoon at Sandals Resort they live in Rochester.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Richardson Jr. of Columbus and Roy Austin Sr. of Conneaut, all formerly of Youngstown. The groom's parents are Teddy Lee Montgomery Sr. of Columbus and Nellie Marie Montgomery of Canal Winchester.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Roy Austin Jr., wore a white strapless gown with a fitted bodice enhanced with an embroidered overly. The corset back was adorned with buttons and a ribbon tie, and the lace skirt flared into a semicathedral train.
Lisa Maravola of Niles was the honor attendant in a wine-colored dress.
Serving as best man was Kevin James of the Bronx, N.Y.
Mrs. Montgomery graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's in health administration. She is employed at Mayo Clinic in Rochester as administrator of nurse triage services.
Mr. Montgomery served eight years with the U.S. Army and is employed at TBM in Rochester. He will pursue a degree in computer science at the Community Technical College, also in Rochester.
