LaGamba 50th celebrated at Antioch Hall

XBOARDMAN -- The golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Joe LaGamba, 753 Ron Lee Lane, was celebrated Oct. 28 at Antioch Hall in Youngstown.
Hosts for the festivities were the couple's children and their spouses, JoAnn LaGamba of Austintown, Karen DeLisio of Poland, the Rev. Anthony and Renee LaGamba of New Middletown, Joe and Cora LaGamba of Austintown, Liz and Ken Roaden of Dayton and Terese Guerrieri of Boardman. Also assisting at the event was Rose Giampetro of Liberty.
The former Theresa Isoldi and Mr. LaGamba were married Oct. 29, 1955, at St. Rose Church in Girard.
The couple also renewed their wedding vows Oct. 29 at the Boardman Township Park Gazebo, where their son officiated.
Mr. LaGamba retired as a captain with the Youngstown Fire Department and served as executive director of the National Safety Council, Northeast Ohio, and then as a safety specialist at Professional Risk Management.
His wife is employed by the Neff Co. as a bathroom estimator.
Twelve grandchildren complete their family.
