XBOARDMAN -- St. Charles Church was the setting Oct. 8 for the wedding of Erin Kaple, 784 Tollis Parkway, Broadview Heights, and Michael Eblin, 1438 Lincoln Ave., Lakewood.
Monsignor Kenneth Grimes and Deacon Michael Kocjancic officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre, Liberty.
The daughter of Tim and Yvonne Kaple, 7962 Lost Tree Drive, and the son of Tom and Sally Eblin, 5220 Lola Way, Columbus, live at the Broadview Heights address after a honeymoon at St. Lucia.
The bride's creme silk satin gown was adorned with ivory ribbon and a rhinestone broach at the waist, and the hemline and sweep train were edged with Alencon lace.
Eggplant-colored gowns were worn by Leah Viano, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Amanda Warren, Jennifer Dougherty, Melanie Koontz, Suzy Parker, Suzanne Paden and Jamie Kauffman. Flower girls Jessie Eblin and Megan and Carly Caldwell wore Victorian lilac dresses.
Best man was Steve Eblin, and groomsmen were Steve Devlin, Michael Georgenson, Jeff Mielke, Shane Fleming, Ryan Kaple and Timon Kaple. Ring bearer was Carter Kauffman.
The bride, a graduate of Ohio University and the University of Phoenix, is a senior manager of events and programs with Greater Cleveland Partnership.
The groom graduated from Ohio University and is an assistant financial adviser with Ameriprise Financial in Columbus.
