Rev. David Foster is new pastor at Cornerstone Presbyterian
BOARDMAN -- The Rev. David Foster was installed during a service Nov. 6 as pastor of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 471 Mathews Road.
Participating in the service were his father, Rev. C. Biddle Foster, retired pastor of Kirkridge Presbyterian Church, Manchester, Md., where he served for 33 years, and his father-in-law, the Rev. Richard Rowe, pastor of Fairview and Petrolia Presbyterian churches, near Butler, Pa.
The Rev. Mr. Foster graduated from Messiah College in 1995 and received a master of divinity degree in 2002 from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. That same year he was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America at Murrysville Community Church, Murrysville, Pa., where he served as associate pastor.
He and his wife, Rachel, have three daughters.
Sunday school classes for all ages are at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 11. The church also has Bible study and Nurture Groups.
