Police need help identifying burned body
BUTLER, Pa. -- Pennsylvania State Police are asking for help identifying a man whose burned body was found in a trash bin behind MHF Inc. on East Butler Road in Summit Township.
Police said the remains were burned beyond recognition, but an autopsy determined the victim was a white man between 20 and 40 years old with a slim build and between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet 3 inches tall. He possibly wore glasses, a green shirt, blue boxer shorts and corduroy pants.
No cause of death was determined in the autopsy, and further tests are being done, police said. The body was found at about 4:20 p.m. Friday.
