Ordination service set at People's Chapel

YOUNGSTOWN -- The ordination service of the Rev. LuDora Austin as a credential minister of the Church of God will take place at her home church, People's Chapel Church of God, 2145 Hillman St., at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Rev. Mrs. Austin was called to the ministry in March 1981 and serves as minister of Christian education at People's Chapel under its pastor, the Rev. Catherine Lockhart, and former pastor, the Rev. Irma Corbett.
She is continuing to take courses at Youngstown Christian Bible School, United Christian College, Emerge Ministries, International Center for Learning, Moody Bible Institute and Lane's Bible Institute in Transfer, Pa. She is counseling at Needle's Eye Counseling Center in Youngstown.
Mrs. Austin was employed by La France Dry Cleaners and retired in 1999. She has a daughter, Laura Donlow; a son, Christopher Donlow; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
