XPITTSBURGH -- Nuptial vows were exchanged by Jamie Lee Lesch and Jason Leon Newman, both of 1430 E. 10th St., Salem, as they were united in marriage Oct. 15 during a 6 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Larry D. Goyda at the overlook on Mount Washington.
The daughter of Albert and Gayle Lesch, 305 W. Eighth St., Salem, and the son of Wendell and JoAnn Newman, 12205 Goshen Road, Lot 114, Salem, accepted congratulations during a reception held in their honor at Atria's Restaurant.
The couple have postponed their wedding trip to Mexico until next June.
The bride's strapless ivory gown featured an A-line skirt with a side drape that formed a frill and flowed into a sweep train.
Patricia Lesch of Salem served as honor attendant for her sister. She wore a black and champagne gown. The flower girl was the groom's daughter, Savannah Newman of Salem.
The duties of best man were performed by Jason Grearer of Salem.
The bride graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She is employed as an assembler with General Motors Corp. Lordstown.
The groom is a parts salesman with Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown.
